This website is to alert fellow historians and genealogists of Perry McIntyre’s work and publications, including her involvement in research projects involving Irish-Australian immigration in the 19th century. Some of her work is published by Anchor Books Australia which has also published a wide range of books of historical interest see www.anchorbooksaustralia.com.au For many years, until 2020, Perry was the historian on the Great Irish Famine Commemoration Committee (GIFCC) and she is still actively working on the lives of the workhouse orphan girls.
